Bored with studying (so what else is new?) so I wandered online and started downloading the pilot of Friday Night Lights. I've been hearing really good things about this show for monthes, so am adding it to my 'to watch this summer' list. I wasn't interested at first because I thought it was just about football, and yawn, but from what I hear it's much more than just a show about football and it's evidently one of the best new shows this season. Always up for giving new dramas a chance when I hear good things about them, so checking it out. :) Course, knowing my luck, I'll watch the first season, get super into it, and then have it be cancelled. -__- I gather it's on the bubble, so we'll see. Too many good shows are right now... Veronica Mars, which I still like despite being unhappy with aspects of this season, Supernatural, which I am very slowly downloading (got 2.04 on my computer so will watch soonish, ie. prob on the plane or at the airport Tuesday). Though my computer really, really doesn't like me playing videos right now.. it's driving me NUTS. It's slow and skippy and hates me. ;_; I got the new battery, so it's something else. Maybe the fan; I need to clean it out. Barring that, I might back everything up and defrag. Or something. I'm computer illiterate sometimes.... any suggestions on what I need to do to make this thing work smoother? It's virus-free, last I checked. It's just... very slooow...
New Office and My Name is Earl tonight, woo hoo. And depending on how determined I am not to study, I might tune in for some of the GA special since Jeffrey Dean Morgan is hosting it. :) (though I confess I'm not obsessed with him like a lot of people are... I HATED Denny at first, though I think that's just cause I was an embittered Izzy/Alex fan. I grew to like him, though, and I sobbed like a baby in the s2 finale like everyone else. :) And I liked him on SPN, of course. I hope he still pops up occasionally this season, in flashbacks and such... for one thing, I love love flashbacks to when the boys were kids. They're so cute and I want to cuddle them. ;_; anyway.)
ANYWAY. I'm stalling hardcore. Will start dinner at 6, I suppose. I should study some more first, because come 6 I'll be out of commission for most of the evening (making dinner from ~6-6:30, eating it and watching Friends until 7 or so, then probably will end up being lazy and watching more random TV while trying to study a bit, then Office and Earl at 8... then maybe GA special at 9... yeah. lazy.)
FIVE DAYS LEFT. OH YES.
