Can't Stop the Serenity 2007

They're doing it again! Can't Stop the Serenity 2007, aka the Serenity Equality Now screenings like we had last summer. I'm hoping to go again if I can get others interested. Anyone want to go? :) It'll be around the weekend of June 23rd, most likely. I'm going to ask Ryan if he wants to come, too... showed the movie and series to him last summer and he liked them. Last summer was lots of fun - it was great seeing the movie amidst other fans, and it was great knowing that we were helping out a good cause. I even wrote about it fairly extensively in my paper on fan charities last term. :)

Okay, holy crap it's cold out there... -22 with windchill, according to weathernetwork.com. Maybe not that cold for people used to living in this part of the country (and it's warmer here compared to areas farther north), but shit that's cold for poor little me from Vancouver... I used went out to have pizza for a very late dinner, and I carried my half-drunk coke can back - it's a 2 minute walk/jog (I jogged... wanted to get out of cold asap) from the pizza place back to my dorm, and the drops of coke that spilled out onto the rim of the can actually froze in that time. Christ. o.o My hands practically froze, too, since I was stupidly bare-handed while carrying the can... and not wearing a scarf. And my coat wasn't done up. But hey, short walk, figured it'd be okay. ^^ Bloody insane out there today; it's been cold and super windy and snowy. Ick. (still, gotta say it beats the incessant rain of Vancouver... I hate UBC when it's rainy and windy).
