(no subject)

Ergh, I hate Resnet. -_- My Internet's been very sporadic since I got back to dorm, and it seems to have given up altogether. I'm stuck bringing my laptop out into the living room and using Wireless, but it's being pretty sporadic as well. I suppose this is God's way of telling me that I should be writing my essay instead of updating my LJ. XD I'm almost done one of my three essays; am planning to finish it for today, then start on the 2nd one this weekend. Am trying not to panic too much. o.o

On the plus side, I'm going out to see Serenity at the UBC Norm Theatre tonight, so woo! I can wear my shiny new Jayne hat. XD If there's anyone else interested in coming, let me know. It's at 7, and the cost is only $3.50 (yay AMS...).

Okay, FUCK UBC. They charge $1 a day for library books? What the fuck? I'm 3 days overdue on a bunch of books, and I owe THIRTY SEVEN fucking dollars. Vancouver Public Library's, like, $.30 a day. This is ridiculous. I'm going to see how long I can put off paying it for, but I'm going to have to eventually. I cannot believe this. *grumblegrumblegrumble*

Serenity, take two

Just got back from finally seeing Serenity for the second time on the big screen (thank you for once, UBC!), and it was just as wonderful as before. It was strange watching it and knowing what was going to happen this time; made it both easier to watch (didn't have to worry...) and harder (knew what was coming when). Now I'm finally going to break out my DVD and watch the commentary/extras and deleted scenes.

And because this bears saying, as well: Joss Whedon is God. But we already knew that. XD (he's also Satan, but we already knew that too... we love him anyway. Or maybe because. Huh.)
