Uugh... Evidently I'm sick. Think it's the flu, because I'm not stuffed up and I feel nauseous and horrible, not really like cold symptoms. I was feeling okay yesterday morning, but ~4 I started feeling sick and I ended up sleeping straight from ~5 to 6. And I went to bed at 10:30... ^^;; Woke up at 5 this morning feeling disoriented, sick, and generally severely shitty. Managed to eventually get back to sleep ~6, and slept on and off until 8. Had class at 9:30 that I had to go to b/c we had a discussion group thing in it today, but my teacher let me leave ~ 1/2 way through. I think she said that I'll still get the marks. I wasn't participating in my group at all, anyway. ^^;; Skipped the Astro tutorial, which I didn't want to do b/c I was hoping to get the extra 3% that I'd get from going to all 6, but I just don't feel up to it.

My dad's picking me up in ~20 min and I'm going home for the day. Yaay. Going to conk out on the couch and watch the election. And possibly pray a bit. -__- Voter turnout seems to be good, though, based on reports on LJ - lots of people have said that the lines were huge, or at least that there were considerably more people at the polls than normal. And that was at 6:30am! I'm holding out hope yet.

Btw, I gather that a poll was done up here about who we'd vote for if we could, and evidently the results were 78% Kerry, 22% Bush, or something similar. ^^ Heh, if it was up to us Canadians then it sounds like Bush'd be out of there in a heartbeat. ^_^

God, I'm going to be sick and not just because I have the flu... I can't take this waiting. I'm terrified watching these numbers, and at this rate we're not going to know for days, probably. I've been watching on-and-off since ~4, though after awhile it starts to give me a bloody migraine and I have to turn it off. How could more people be voting for Bush than in 2000? I'm just... gah, at a loss for words. I'm just staring at the television along with most of, well, the world, and willing the numbers to change in Kerry's favour. I just don't understand these people, I really don't. Argh.

*chants "Kerry/Edwards!" incessently and prays*

I've got to finish up the script for my Eng presentation, too, and I just can't get up to it right now. Plus I feel pretty shitty, still. I really hope that I'll be better by tomorrow, since I have 4 classes. ^^;; I might skip my 2 morning classes - [livejournal.com profile] bronzejarith, if you go to them could I please borrow your notes? I have to get back out to campus, and I don't feel up to waking up early and getting there in time for my first classes. Either way, though, I have to be back by 2 for English and to meet up w/ my Eng presentation group after. Ugghh... *stares dejectedly at script* *stares even more dejectedly at numbers that still stubbornly read "Bush - 246, Kerry - 195". Shiiiiit...

*cuddles plushies*

*2 seconds later* Oh god, Bush just won Alaska... make that 249-195. I'm gonna cry. ;_; Geez, and I'm not even American.
