*bounces excitedly* Look what I just wasted $24 on! Not to mention ~2 hours last night setting up a Paypal account! Omg how pathetically materialistic am I? *snerk* But with these coming in the mail within the next few weeks (still need to pay - Paypal hasn't finished validating my bank account), I somehow can't seem to care... Weeeee. *bouncebounce*

How freaking cute are those? They're smaller than normal UFO catcher dolls; they're actually plushie-keychains (~3 inches tall). But it was such a good price ($9.99 + $9 shipping, both USD, which is a bit steep but balances out because of the low price of the item itself). And it was Buy It Now, which is the best freakin' thing ever invented on Ebay, because actually bidding is hopeless. And I did a search after, and there are 2 other auctions for the same thing - one is an actual auction, currently at $12.99 (not bad, and the shipping's cheaper, but see above about bidding...), and one that's a "Buy It Now" for $28. :P :P And this guy has almost 100% good feedback, so I figure it's all good. I've bought a few other things off Ebay in the past (though never won an auction. *g*), and never had any trouble.
And... and... look at them! Only thing that would make this sweeter? If there was a Hughes one. *wistful sigh*
Damn me and my materialistic anime-goods spending sprees... I'm so bad. ;_;
And heh, my parents totally have no clue - I was on the verge to calling them several times last night to ask to use Dad's Paypal account because I was having trouble setting mine up, and the seller only accepts Paypal, but I managed to get it all worked out, and set up Online Banking to boot, so I can check constantly for the payments that Paypal's supposed to deposit to validate my account. This would all be easier if I had a credit card, but oh well. ^^ So yeah, having it sent to dorm, and not telling them until after it's arrived... heh. Mom's going to be like "why are you wasting money on more anime stuff??". :P
