(no subject)

Squeeeeee! UBC Housing emailed me and offered me a single room in Vanier! Thank god. O.o Didn't want to be in Totem cause it's bloody miles out (and Vanier has a new caf which, all things considered, is pretty nice. ;P), and certainly didn't want a double room. Am very relieved. ^^ Don't know what house I'm in yet - hoping that it's one of the renovated ones, but I won't know until I move in, as I recall. Wouldn't it be creepy if it was Hamber again? O.o Heh, Hamber basement. Hell, 003. Now that? Would be some seriously fucking up deja vu. But all things considered, very unlikely. Which is actually a pity, cause that was a (in relativity) large room, and I was in my own little alcove with pretty much my own little bathroom. ^_^ Anyway, Tec would be nice - it's one of the two new houses. And it has elevators. *g*

Anyway, yay. Am relieved now. This is going to be weird, being back at Vanier... ^^;;

EEeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! The set decorator from Smallville's over at my house right now to rent art from Dad for the show (for an "art school in Paris" - makes sense given what's happening with Lana, ne? ^^), and, and... *bouncebounce* *evil grin* she's going to get me autographs from Michael Rosenbaum and Tom Welling! *bounces some more* She said it'd take awhile because they're not in town now, but I can wait! *bouncebounce* *ahem* It pays to have a father who works on-and-off with the film industry. ;P I have an autographed X-Files photo I got years ago from the set decorator of it.

I'm so excited. ^^ Wonder if there's anyone else who's autographs I should request? She asked who I wanted and I said MR and TW; think that's it, really... I can do without Kristen Kreuk's, though I confess that I wouldn't mind John Glover's or John Schneider's... All things considered, I tend to find them both more interesting than most of the younger characters. -_-

Anyway, big squee. ^_^ Dunno how long it'll take, but since I'm going away maybe they'll be here when I get back. ;P This is so freaking cool... Now if only Angel had filmed up here, ne? Could've gotten dad to rent art to them and gotten autographs... as it is, will have to contend with either spending ridiculously high prices online or going to a convention (which I'd love to do, esp if you-know-who was there). ^^ Oh, and speaking of - this guy came through the till next to me last night at SoF who looked so much like Alexis Denisof... think I've seen him there before; might have even mentioned it here. I kept sneaking glances at him for, like, 5 minutes. ^^ Pity he didn't come through my till... Of course, that set me off fantasizing what I'd do if AD actually did come through my till (I've heard celebrities occasionally do - evidently Ian Mckellan came through awhile ago). I think I'd faint. :P
