Well damn, seems like a series of Angel TV movies is looking more and more possible. By the looks of this article, it's definitely happening, though I'll wait to hear some more official and definitive confirmation. But the series finale's ending on a cliffhanger? They didn't know that they were going to get a TV movie(s) when they wrote the finale, so did they just plan to leave us hanging? Eeevil ME. ;P Well, evidently the first movie will continue whatever happens in the series finale, so guess we'll see. Bloody cliffhangers. ;_; Oh, and here's hoping on the Faith front - it'd rock to have her in it. While I'd kind of like a second season of Tru Calling (which is evidently very much up in the air; no one seems to know for certain...), I'd love to have Faith back on Angel in whatever form the show happens to take.

Although right now I'm too busy praying that Wesley survives the last few eps. <--- completely unspoiled, that's just me freaking out and knowing that ME and Joss are evil and thus could kill off my favourite character. *shudder*

*returns to cramming for French* I've been trying to concentrate on it since 9, but I have a Buffy/Wesley fic in my brain and I can't stop mentally writing it. Ergh. ;P Might actually write it later; it takes place during BtVS's "Earshot" (3X18, aka the one where Buffy gets temporary telepathic powers). Don't think there are any s3-era B/W fics out there... ;P

[livejournal.com profile] bk635 - I finished Kill Bill v1 if you want to go to v2 sometime next week (last exam for me is Tuesday morning). Damn, you weren't kidding about a bloodbath. O.o I was like "shit, you rock girl. Woah, she just massacred, like, 50 people..." ;P Very, um, bloody though. Ehehe. Was eating Subway sandwich at the time. That does not mix with limbs flying every which way. Was quite thankful for the black and white... The battle at the end was cool, though. Ooh, samurai fight in the snow in a Japanese garden. *drool* I found it interesting how after ~80% of the movie in mostly English, they switched almost exclusively to Japanese at the end. Which was v. cool, of course. ;P Also, the song that played at the end of the fight scene was cool. One line I noticed was (I think; I don't exactly put much stock in my JP knowledge...) "embrace the darkness." Aside from me realizing with a start that I understood the line, it sounds cool. ;P Course, I might just be thinking that because I realized I could understand it.. *g* Everything just sounds cooler in Japanese. ^_^

Which reminds me, after Tuesday it's time to break out the old JP textbooks and start studying like hell... and trying to force some lessons onto my mom so she doesn't stand there with a blank look on her face while I'm struggling to speak bad Japanese... -_- I'm going to have to be the one to call if we need to make hotel/youth hostel reservations over the phone. Oh joy. *mental note to review the phrase "do you speak English?"*

On OT note, wrote a tiny (tiny) bit of that Buffy/Wes "Earshot" fic I mentioned earlier; want to write more... I have a lot of it already formed in my mind, so hard part now is making it sound good. I don't understand how I can write what I have been told are very good essays, yet I can't write fiction for shit. *sigh* Oh well, it's still fun. ^^ I'm just stuck trying to decide between going completely AU after "Earshot" and seeing where it takes me, or cutting off their "relationship" there and assuming that they went on with their lives as per normal then meet up again post-"Origin". Will likely get Jossed even before I get it written, but who cares. ^^

EDIT: Actually, the line in the song I mentioned might have been "embrace the night." I can't remember now. ^^;;
