Jan. 6th, 2004 03:26 pmMy Internet works!!!! *bounces* Finally!
Went over to IT Services _again_ today, and this time they sent one of the guys over to fix it. He tweaked some little thing on my computer, and voila. Go figure. -_-
Also, I got Babylon 5 Season 4! *bounces again* Jane let me hitch a ride downtown on her way home (thankies!) and I went to Futureshop at Granville & Robson. Came to $87 thus I am now broke (well, at least my money is rapidly declining... I put in $255 the other day and it really didn't seem to make that much difference. ^^;;). Bused back; now tired and wet and my feet are cold and _damn_ it's cold and snowy and plain horrible out there. On the plus side, they evidently cancelled classes this afternoon, so maaaybe they'll cancel them tomorrow, too. And given that it turns out my Milton essay's due _tomorrow_, if I get tomorrow off too then I'll have until Friday to edit it. Which is good, cause it sucks. ^^;;
Now... must do work... ehehehe... Ooooh, B5 S4. *drool* The first 6 eps of that season remain some of my fav in the series; they're the arc that ends the Shadow War. And that's when there's all the awesome (and sad and disturbing...) scenes on Centauri Prime with Londo and G'kar and the nutjob aka Emperor Cartagia. ^^;; Totally looking forward to seeing all that again. Can't remember the rest of the season well, for some reason... I know the last eps of the season, of course, since that's the whole 'retake Earth' arc thing, but other then that... I think this is the season with all the eps where Garibaldi goes to Mars, but I reeeally don't remember. Now, must go watch. Um, work. Yeah. Bugger, who am I kidding? *runs to watch DVD*
