Yeah, you need to install those two drivers. What is the name of your wireless card and video card? Are they integrated to the motherboard or not? You can usually download these off the manufacturer's website.. I can go look, but I need to know what the hardware is. >.>

When I reformatted my Dad's computer last week, the Dell CD didn't have a driver for the computer's ethernet controller, so it's pretty similar to what's happening with your laptop; thankfully, you can connect to the internet directly.
