The sad thing was Bush. I mean, ok--It's Bush, but still; the guy knows Chretien for crying out loud. Though I'll grant that it was a really inconvenient time to ask him--he probably heard "Prime Minister" and "Canada" (selective hearing, etc).
I'd like to know how many people they interviewed, because after all, they could have interviewed 400 people and only shown the 30 or so stupid ones. An undercover camera would also probably help, since when you put someone in front of a camera and give them a microphone, you can pretty much get them to do or say anything. >.> Though it would be unethical to film them without their consent.
