(no subject)

Does anyone have episodes 89-100 and 103-106 of Naruto? If so, could I please borrow the CDs or can you send them to me over AIM or something? I'm not picky about subbers, as long as it's good quality and a decent sub. They're the only episodes I'm missing, and I want to burn the series so far onto DVD to free up the 16-odd gigs it's taking up on my computer.

Eep, I haven't updated since I was in NYC, have I? I'll try to make a big post at some point, at least with a brief summary of my trip. These days I'm just sitting around trying to get off my lazy ass and find a job, doing work for Mom (who's writing a book right now and needs a lot of help with entering changes, editing it, writing bits of it... ^^) and watching too much TV on my computer. Oh, and doing some research into courses and such. I'm now thinking of possibly taking a course in 2nd term this summer (if it's not too late to register?), in part for the UPass which I'll probably need once I start working. Maybe a history course.

But, most importantly: Happy birthday, [livejournal.com profile] rainbowpegacorn!!! *big hug* Give me a call when you're free, and hopefully we can do something later this week!

I've checked up on the website, and it turns out that Film 100 is offerred first term, May 9th - June 17th, and there are 3 spaces left. From what I gathered, I can still register in it until... 12am today. Last day to register, it seems. ^^ It's Mon, Wed, Fri, 2-4, which is inconvenient but otoh I might be working in the evening anyway, and I need the Film 100 credit for next year. The withdrawal date is Friday, so I could register today, go to class Friday, and if I hate it I can drop out that day w/out a W. ^^;; And heck, I calculated the cost for monthly 2-zone passes all summer, and it's nearly as expensive as taking a course and getting the UPass for $80! Crazy. And considering that I do need the credit, and I don't want to have to be getting it in 3rd year, I'm almost def going for it. 2 more hours to decide...

Well DUH. XDDDD Bus passes are so expensive. And you could drop in to see me 'cause it's during work hrs. We could do lunch (1-2)! Yay!

^__^ That'd be cool. *frets* Hell, might as well go for it. I can always drop it on Friday. Do you know if I get the $80 fee back if I drop the course? It was due March 26th, it says, but as far as I can tell I can still pay it now and register. From what I gather, summer courses are quite a bit of work since they're so concentrated, but otoh it's only 1 course instead of 5. Once I see the outline at least I'll know the course requirements (and the films).

$80 fee - non-refundable.

And yes I noticed you added it when I came in this morning. ^_^;;;;

Sorry to bother you with more questions and requests, but I need to ask a couple of other things. I'm back to seriously considering Carleton (again - I swear, I'm like a ping pong ball these days...), and I was wondering if you know anything about the process. Do you know if taking a course this summer would have any effect on transfering, considering that the application date for Carleton is June 1st? If it's possible, I would be grateful if you could book me an appointment for advising, preferably Friday (or tomorrow, if that works instead). I can't seem to find anything about what I have to do to transfer on the UBC website, but I assume that I have to talk to someone and do something aside from just applying to another univ. I you can, please let me know tomorrow if there's anything available either tomorrow or Friday, or if not then next week (Mon/Wed/Fri preferably). Thanks a lot in advance. ^_^

This Fri - 16 drop-ins, looking good if you get here early. We haven't been too busy so they don't tend to fill up that quickly. I don't foresee any problems with you taking this course in the summer and transfer in the fall.

Thanks. I'll try to come in ~10:30-11, if that would be early enough? It'll give me a lot of time to kill, but I do need to get my UPass and if we're meeting up at 1 for lunch then that cuts down my time waiting alone by an hour. ^_^

Upass will take you an easy 30-40 min, at least. So yeah, that's prolly fine. XD
