Joss Whedon to direct The Avengers!!!! Excuse me while I explode from glee. ^___^ That's so awesome, good for him - it's great to see him directing such a major film! I don't think Marvel's officially commented yet, but it's been confirmed by various sources and seems to be pretty definitely a go. Let's hope so!
