Haven't there been various theories about clones circulating for years? Trying to remember them now...

Anyway, good episode generally. Still going OMGWTF about the ending. More later, maybe. (talking on phone to mom right now, but had to comment since it just ended!)

ETA: ... ... ...okay, so maybe it's not clone!Jack, maybe it's real!Jack. For some reason that didn't occur to me. XD Probably because there have been clone theories floating around for awhile, as I recall. Heh.

ETA again: Okay, so I think I overreacted. XD Leaving this up anyway cuz it's funny. Dont' ask me why that was the first thing I thought of. ;p Anyway, it's still weird - what is Jack doing on the main island again? And why is he all happy football-playing with Tom?

You know, for the life of me I could NOT remember when it was that they hinted at Christian being Claire's father... I though that it's been floating around online for AGES, but couldn't remember why. My mom just had to remind me about the scene of him going to Australia on the phone. XD When she starts having to remind ME of stuff in Lost, I know something's wrong... heh. Though I was very amused that her reaction to me saying that it's a Claire episode was "Claire who?" LOL. Way to go with giving storylines to all your characters, Damon & Carleton - when people start FORGETTING who the characters are, we know something really is wrong. Heh.

I'm still amused by myself thinking Jack was a clone. Hate that idea, too. Don't ask me why the fuck I thought of it... knee-jerk reaction, and posted about it before I could really think about it.

ETA3: *watches Canadian promo (watched it on ABC tonight so didn't see it)* Okay, so yeah, not a clone. LOL. I have issues, obviously.

LOL. Yeah,.I kinda lost interest in it over the 3-month hiatus. But I've been enjoying it since it's been back on the air. I think it's getting better overall, and I'm starting to remember why I loved it in the first place.

Speaking of remembering why I loved things in the first place, getting the first issue of s8 of Buffy today compelled me to go re-watch some old BtVS/AtS music vids I have. Wow, that's nostalgic... I hadn't realized just how long it's really been since I saw an episode of either show or was particularly invested in them. Watching them (well, one so far) is bringing back memories hardcore and reminding me why I loved them so much. Sigh... I miss them both.

The others are messed up that way. They see something in Jack that they want multiples of. Who knows?

They're on the main island cause that's where The Others live. They knew that the Losties would come looking for them, so they relocated.

They don't want the Losties to look for them. At least, Jack doesn't. But The Others figured that they would come retrieve Jack. Or I don't know. There's so much mystery behind The Others, we don't know what their ultimate goal is.
