Tonight's TV, Supernatural
May. 8th, 2007 10:28 pmIs it bad that I'm sitting here right now watching SVU and feeling bored and not even watching it properly? I'm not in the mood to watch any of my shows tonight; barely paid attention during House, too, though it had some funny scenes. SVU sounds terrible based on stuff I've read on my f-list, or at least something really bad/stupid happened at some point in the episode. Read the comments and have an idea of what happens, and bleh... this show is rapidly losing my interest. I do enjoy old episodes sometimes, though. Pity, because I do like Elliot and of course I enjoy watching Chris play him, but... meh. And they underuse Munch terribly; he was such an awesome character on Homicide that it irritates me to see the one-dimensional character with barely any lines that he's become on SVU.
I'm vaguely craving SPN fic, but not sure what type. I like Jared/Jensen, but I want something based on the show and characters, too. But I'm not really into Wincest, and besides that it's mostly gen or crossover fic in this fandom. I could do with some really good gen if anyone recced it; maybe some Weechester fic because the boys as kids are adorable. :)
Watched eps 18 and 19 today; almost caught up! 18 cracked me the shit up, especially since I'd just been thinking about how I want to maybe work in the film/TV industry and start off as a PA. Haha, PA!Dean was hilarious. The in-jokes were also great - the Gilmore Girls shout-out and the look on Sam's face was hilarious, and Sam's comment that the weather is 'almost Canadian' made me laugh. Ep19, meanwhile, made my inner Oz and PB fan very very happy... Sam is terrible at being in prison, heh. He's far too pretty, for one thing. In Oz he would've been pragged up within the first night. XD Dean too, maybe, considering how pretty he is, but he's more likely to be able to defend himself and frankly he just knew how to adjust to life in prison much better. With Sam, I was having flashbacks to Toby in the first episode of Oz. XD Only fortunately without the neo-Nazi fuck raping him and branding a swastika on his ass... haha, poor Sammy. ;p Anyway though, decent episode and I had lots of fun watching it. Would have been infinitely improved if they had thrown one or both of them into the Hole naked. I was yelling "throw him in the Hole!" when Dean got into that first fight and they said they were taking him to Solitary. Heee. If it was Oz, they'd be naked. :) Speaking of the differences between network and cable, I was very amused to hear the inmates saying things like "fricking". Haha, yeah, like they'd say that... Hell, I don't say that, heh.
Ooh, I happened to actually glance at the screen for like the first time all episode and there was a nice shot of Meloni on it. XD Yes, I felt that warranted writing about... mm, Elliot. Nice lighting on him. ;p
I might go to Park Royal tomorrow to get fabric for Sammy!Doll... though it's a long bus ride just for the sake of getting some fabric. Bleh.
